I can: Personally provide from £5,000 to £50,000 in ‘smart’ money for specific projects or to help you grow.

I am currently seeking opportunities to invest in a personal capacity in:
* Startups (pre-seed and seed investment)
* Early-stage companies (post-revenue / post-profit)
* Established micro and small-cap businesses based in the UK
I remain relatively industry agnostic, so long as I feel I can add value as a ‘smart money’ investor, over and above the funds I contribute to any given project.
High growth and turnaround opportunities are of particular interest to me.
My experience working with companies operating across a variety of industries and geographies leaves me well placed to get up to speed on new sectors and business models when required.
What I can Offer
Quantum: I personally seek to invest from £5,000 up to £50,000 in any given opportunity or funding round.
Lone Investor: I am happy to invest as a standalone investor, as well as in partnership with management in the case of a management buy-out or buy-in.
Lead Investor: For larger capital requirements, I am happy to lead the funding round, working in conjunction with other investors to fill the funding gap.
Consideration: I can provide funding via debt, equity or hybrid instruments.
This flexibility can help to avoid a premature debate on valuation for startups or very early stage businesses.
For established businesses, there can also be tax benefits to both the business and to investors through the use of certain instruments.
Having spent close to five years in investment banking at Citigroup, I have extensive experience of process management and transaction execution across a broad range of industries and products including:
* Public and private M&A on the buy and sell side
* Takeover and bid defence
* Capital raisings in the debt and equity markets
* Board-level strategic advisory mandates
At Citigroup I worked on deals from £30m to £10bn+, including:
* Trade sales to industry buyers
* Buy-outs and minority investments by private equity players
* Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
What this means for you is that I have a working knowledge of the key areas that trade buyers and financial sponsors focus on. As a result, I can help guide you in setting milestones for future funding rounds, ensuring that you attract the highest valuation from incoming investors.
